Since 1992, the Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100 is the world's leading textile safety seal. Products, that have been awarded the seal, are free from harmful substances in concentrations that negatively affect human health including pesticides, chlorophenols, formaldehydes, allergenic dyes, forbidden azo dyes and extractable heavy metals.
Oeko-Tex ® Standard 100 confirms the fulfillment of all requirements contained in Annex XVII of REACH (including the use of azo-dyes, nickel, etc.), U.S. requirements pertaining the full amount of lead in children's articles ICPSIA, with the exception of accessories made from glass and Polish regulations pertaining to the safety of textile products (the Council of Ministers on 6 April 2004, OJ No. 81, item. 743 with subsequent amendments). This seal facilitates the sale of textiles, especially in the markets of countries in the European Union, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, USA, Canada, Japan and others.
Certificates issued by the Department of TEXTIL-CERT Certification authorize the marking of a registered trademark, they confirm the safety of textile products for young children.
